As Sha’bi narrated that ‘Umar  (رضي الله عنه) and Ubay  (رضي الله عنه) disputed on a matter and they took the case to Zayd Ibn Thabit  (رضي الله عنه) for adjunction. When they arrived at Zayd’s  (رضي الله عنه) place, he motioned “Umar  (رضي الله عنه) to sit down on his cushion. But ‘Umar  (رضي الله عنه) said, “This is the beginning of your bias. You should make both of us sit down in the same place.” So, he sat them in front of him.
